Pravin Ratnam

President and Program Director

Pravin Ratnam has many years of experience in the healthcare software industry and wants to use his skills in making workflows efficient in the field of sober and transition living. He is an anomaly in this industry due to the fact that he never once used drugs in his life. He is also a career and financial coach for our residents. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a double major in Applied Math(Operations Research) and Industrial Management. His main passion is healthcare software and he has a regular job where he focuses on healthcare software solutions and intends to adapt many of those concepts in the field of sober living. John Owen butler

Recovery and Residential Director

John has been in the recovery community for a considerable period of time. Through his experience in recovery he has had the pleasure of working as an office assistant while at one of Georgia’s top rehabilitation programs, The Bridges of Hope. His knowledge of recovery and the recovery community is passed along to the residents of our program with passion and pride. LEANN BURTON

Assistant House Manager

Leann is our latest addition to the staff. She has dealt with patients suffering from dementia in home health care on and off for 20 years. She has two sons, one of who is in law enforcement. She is very easy going and is often the first to know what the day to day needs of our residents are. Plus she is in charge of the female residents.

Al WUNDER

House Manager

Al Wunder has three years experience in the industry. He is very approachable to our residents. He is in charge of our drug screening. He is there to check you in and out of the program. He assists John in our recovery meetings.

 

BRANDON GUTHRIE

Director of Operations

Brandon is in charge of admissions, billing, compliance, and certifications. He has extensive experience running a direct lending company. He is also helpful with financial planning and budgeting for our residents. He has also been a part of rolling out our new curriculum to residents.

 

Dr. Scott Horowitz

Director of Outreach for Apex Living (NON PROFIT)

Scott is in charge of reaching out to external organizations to get donors for Apex Living, a non profit started by the founders of Apex Max Sober Living. He has been very successful in getting rewards and perks for our residents. Dr. Scott Horowitz earned his BA in English/Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction/ Educational Administration/Supervision. He received his Doctorate from NORTHCENTRAL University in 2015. He began his career in the Plainfields serving as a High School English teacher for ten years. Additionally, he coached Football, Basketball and Track for the Tigers leading them to multiple division, county and state championships. Dr. Horowitz began his administrative career at South Brunswick High School enjoying the position of Asst. Athletic Director/Asst. Principal. In this capacity, he was responsible for two grade levels as well as the day to day operations of 27 varsity sport programs. Dr. Horowitz has worked hand in hand with the state’s RAC team and teacher observation committee to pilot programs that have gained national attention for education reform. He retired from education in 2022, serving 25 years in the educational field.
